This is a natural deodorant that is a rendition of my grandmother's recipe. The inclusion of the Greenbriar (Smilax spp) root wild-harvested right here on Soapy Oaks farm is the key ingredient that prevents bacteria from growing under moist areas of the body such as under the arms, this along with the zinc dioxide will make sure you stay smelling fresh without harsh chemicals or aluminum.
Note: This is not an antiperspirant, meaning your pores will not be prevented from doing what they do naturally, it just stops the bacteria from growing and creating odor
My grandmother honestly believed that the inclusion and combination of three of these ingredients had magical properties, you can of course dismiss that as a folktale if you wish, or you can believe in magic and see what happens when you use this formula.

Deodorant is great and works well. My only complaint is the tube is a push up which is a bit challenging if you don’t want to waste the product.

Another reviewer said most natural deodorant doesn't work for them but this one did, and I'm the same so I had high hopes. It smells lightly earthy and herbal, as the name implies, but after I applied to clean dry skin, it combined with my natural chemical makeup and all the sudden I smelled very specifically and strongly like a stereotypical hippie who believes in the cleansing power of essential oils but not soap and water.. It was so shocking it was hysterical 😂. Still a well made product, but alas, has joined my ever growing graveyard of natural deodorants.

Deodorant usually gives me problems due to my sensitive skin but this one has given me no irritation. Very good!
